Being physically fit is not always simple. Building a healthy diet and exercise is rather easy to learn, but to make long-lasting positive changes, we need to examine how our body moves, its strengths and weaknesses and areas that yearn for relief from tension and pain. Often we need to start by repairing the foundation to truly optimize our bodies to live our best lives possible.
Corrective Exercise is different than a personal training program, far more!
It is a movement-centered approach that builds a strong connection between the mind and body so that you can have the power over your your chronic pain, over use stress from repetitive movements like sitting at a computer all day, and limitations to living life with the full range of motion your body is capable of.
This technique doesn't rely on a gym setting with lots of fancy equipment. and a highly-customized plan that identifies your under active, over active and shorten muscles. Your sessions will incorporate mind-muscle activation, muscle isolations and strengthening for your under-active muscles, core stabilization development, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation to dynamically stretch shortened muscles and a series of myofacial release exercises to break up facial scarring on the muscle tendons.
No matter what your personal fitness or healing goals may be, Functional Movement Repair can bring deep therapeutic relief from chronic muscle and joint pain, stress and low energy and increase the strength and stability of your body for years to come.
Personally, I have seen people transform their habits, exercise routines, mental clarity and so much more from the benefits that come from optimizing the body to feel physically balanced, strong and free of the fear of re-injury.
