The Healing Heart is a sanctuary of healing for people searching for holistic alternatives to help them unleash their emotional, mental, physical and spiritual potential. Since our opening in 2018, we have grown rapidly, and have recently celebrated working with our 800th client. We serve a community with both in-person and online services, and are known for our heart-centered, compassionate care. As our community has grown, we have as well. Starting in January of 2022, The Healing Heart will be launching a significant expansion of our services, including a new facility new wellness model and yoga studio.

License Massage Therapist (LMT)
Location: The Healing Heart - Palatine

About the License Massage Therapist Role

  • Work with individuals to help them improve their health using swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and/or cupping techniques and applications
  • Provide 50-80 Minute massage sessions in a beautiful serene environment
  • Communicate with clients with clients using compassionate and encouraging words
  • Follow The Healing Heart method for client sessions
  • Take accurate and complete notes after every session, communicate with the client's coordinated care team as needed

About You

  • Current License to practice massage in the state of Illinois
  • ​Minimum of one year practicing as a LMT 
  • You are obsessed with helping others improve their health
  • You are organized, tech-savvy, and highly motivated
  • Evidence of on-going professional development
  • Carry current practitioner insurance and able to add "The Healing Heart" as an additional insured

Job Type: Hourly
Pay: $35/hr + tips 
Schedule: Flexible with minimum of 10 hours a week required
Yoga Instructor
Location: The Healing Heart - Palatine

​About the Yoga Instructor Role

  • Instruct individuals in a group setting through safe yoga positions using current hatha and/or vinyasa flow techniques
  • Lead 50-80 minute group yoga classes with a maximum class size of 24 in a beautiful serene setting
  • Communicate with clients using compassionate and encouraging words
  • Follow The Healing Heart method for group classes

About You

  • Current and valid RYT Certification 
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • ​Minimum of one year practicing as a group and/or private yoga instructor
  • You are obsessed with helping others improve their health
  • You are organized, tech-savvy, and highly motivated
  • Ability to articulate and describe yoga positions and their benefits
  • Evidence of on-going professional development
  • Carry current practitioner insurance and able to add "The Healing Heart" as an additional insured

Job Type: Hourly
Pay: $40 per class
Schedule: Flexible with ability to instruct a minimum of 2 classes per week, class options are early morning between 6am-9am, and evenings between 5pm-8pm)
Reflexologist
Location: The Healing Heart - Palatine

About the Reflexologist Role

  • Work with individuals to help them improve their health using Reflexology
  • Provide 50-80 Minute Reflexology sessions in a beautiful serene environment
  • Communicate with clients with clients using compassionate and encouraging words
  • Follow The Healing Heart method for client sessions
  • Take accurate and complete notes after every session, communicate with the client's coordinated care team as needed

About You

  • Current License to practice Reflexology in the state of Illinois
  • ​Minimum of one year practicing as a Reflexologist
  • You are obsessed with helping others improve their health
  • You are organized, tech-savvy, and highly motivated
  • Evidence of on-going professional development
  • Carry current practitioner insurance and able to add "The Healing Heart" as an additional insured
