Massage Experiences
Relaxation Massage (Swedish)
Enjoy a massage designed completely around relaxation and decompressing the body from its everyday stresses. During our Swedish massage your Therapist will use a light to medium pressure to relieve tension from your muscles by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood flow returning to the heart. A Swedish massage is more than just relaxation, it assists with detoxification, increased the level of oxygen in the blood and possible improvement in circulation and flexibility.
Trigger Point Release
This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse.
Himalayan Salt Hot Stone Massage
Enjoy a deep relaxation experience with the warmth of our Himalayan hot stones. Not only is this massage extremely relaxing but Himalayan Salt Stones contain over 84 naturally occurring minerals that also assist in detoxification, help balance the central nervous system, the heat activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System which is responsible for your “rest & digest” response and the mineral rich stones help aid in full body exfoliation leaving your skin feeling extra smooth and soft, plus so much more.
Cupping Massage
Enjoy a relaxing massage and let our Therapist utilize their hands as well as silicone cups to relieve tension in your muscles. Cupping is a unique form of massage therapy which decompresses soft tissues using vacuum suction. It is unlike other forms of massage that compresses soft tissues. During cupping, the cups are strategically placed on the body. The suction created will then gently lift underlying soft tissue into the cup. The cup will remain in place until it has done its job and will then gently be removed by the Therapist.

What to expect during a massage session
Massage is a wonderful experience that doesn't require any special preparation. Before a massage therapy session starts, your massage therapist will ask you about any symptoms, your medical history and what you're hoping to get out of massage.
In a typical massage therapy session, you undress or wear loose-fitting clothing. Undress only to the point that you're comfortable. You generally lie on a table and we cover you with a sheet, and can provide warmer blankets if you'd like. Your massage therapist will leave the room when you undress before the massage and when you dress after it. You can also have a massage while sitting in a chair, fully clothed.
Depending on preference, your massage therapist may use oil to reduce friction on your skin. Tell your massage therapist if you might be allergic to any ingredients.
A massage session may last from 20 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of massage and how much time you have. No matter what kind of massage you choose, you should feel calm and relaxed during and after your massage. Breathe normally throughout your massage.
Soft music will be playing in your room, but you can request it be turned off if you prefer quiet instead.
Your massage is for your relaxation and wellness, so if a massage therapist is pushing too hard, don't hesitate to ask for lighter pressure. Occasionally you may have a sensitive spot in a muscle that feels like a knot. It's likely to be uncomfortable while your massage therapist works it out. But if it becomes painful, speak up!

According to the American Pregnancy Association
Research shows prenatal massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. Prenatal massage therapy addresses different needs through varying techniques, one of which is called Swedish Massage. Swedish Massage aims to relax muscle tension and improve lymphatic and blood circulation through mild pressure applied to the muscle groups of the body. Swedish Massage is the recommended massage method during pregnancy because it addresses many common discomforts associated with the skeletal and circulatory changes brought on by hormone shifts. |
